I've never written a review on anywhere in my entire life but was compelled to do so because of this film. Easily one of the best marvel movie i've ever seen, mcu or non-mcu. Maybe even the best in general period. It had the perfect amount of everything and it made me cry, laugh, clap and cheer. In the movies, I've never experienced the audience audibly react so much and this was my first time experiencing that, which just goes to show how amazing this movie is.
Tom Holland did such a great job acting, and bringing back the OG villains were so nostalgic and they were introduced in a good way. Having grown up with the original spiderman movies this made my heart glow. I have nothing to complain about the film. It was just genuinely so so good. Please watch it, you won't regret it I promise you
This is the quintessential MCU film to date. The layout and execution of the plot is phenomenal. Raw emotion, returning actors of immeasurable talent, the action, visual effects, and character development make this film so enjoyable. I dare say that Tom Holland has definitely become the true Spider-Man within the storyline. This film also offers such an incredible extension to past villains such as the remarkable Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, the brilliant Willem Da foe’s Green Goblin, the ecstatic (no pun intended) Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, and Rhys Ifans’ Lizard. There's too much to even put into words, honestly. It's the perfect movie bringing together generations of Spider-Man fans with one amazing film. Epic music, characters, villains, comedy, suspense, everything. I have never in my life laughed so hard at a movie. Never cried so hard at a movie either. I've never in my life had a theater experience so good, either, people collectively laughing, gasping, clapping, and crying. Beautiful. And what an incredible cast! Willem Dafoe killed it, reprising his role as the Green Goblin. Every line he said gave me chills! Tom Holland also deserves so much praise. He made the character of Peter Parker so dynamic, it felt so realistic watching the character grow as the movies came out, going from a hyper, reckless kid, to a mature character who understands loss and consequences. This movie had changed my mind and convinced me that Tom Holland is not only the best Spider-Man, but one of the best actors ever.
